Yea they seem really low, I figured they would have New England, GB, and SF at least around 88 or 89

But guys, player ratings WILL be lower this year. There are more attributes added, which means lower ratings for everyone.

I guess thats a good thing? I mean I understand that all overalls will be subject to change as Coaches gain XP and they begin to boost their player ratings...

Overalls in connected careers are different for each team!

A 4-3 linebacker will only be a 85 overall in a 4-3 system. Move him to a team like the redskins, and his overall drops. This is why the overalls will be different between the play now and connected careers.

Yea. I just listened to an interview discussin this very topic and charged hit the nail on the head... Lagarette blount overall may drop if he goes to the saints because they prefer running backs like sproles, bush, and McCoy who is a receiving threat

Darren sproles is currently the best all purpose yardage back in the NFL. This may sound like a stretch, but look it up. He set the record. If he were to go to a team like the vikings (GOD FORBID) his overall would plummet. Pretty cool overall system. I believe you can change your system to form around a new player too during the off season. For example, the redskins changing from pocket passer to a dual threat QB.

That's what I was wondering, my favorite team is new England, but I like to run the ball... So I hope if I trade for a running back his overall won't plummet since they never run the ball.... Also idk if it's there overall that fluctuates or the team overall that fluctuates...... For example Blount may be a 85 for the bucs and saints, but the saints will view his overall as a 70 because he doesn't fit, therefore dropping the team overall, but not necessarily the player.... Idk if that made any sense at all, and idk if that's the case or not, just an idea

We'll have to play it by ear.

If you trade for a running back, I doubt his overall will go down TOO much. Maybe a few points. It depends if your trading for a power back... or a receiving back. I believe the Patriots have both though. Same with the saints.

Not really sure how that situation will play out

Cuz the video I watched said for example a 3-4 team may value a 4-3 DE 10 points lower than a 3-4 de and will go after a 3-4 DE in the draft or free agency before they would the 4-3
